The location of this cottage is ideal, with a village setting that offers a pub, cafe, and convenience shop within walking distance. This makes it convenient to explore the area without having to travel far for basic necessities. the cottage is described as Tardis-like, providing plenty of room on the inside despite its small outward frontage. the bedrooms are spacious and the beds extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The information folder in the cottage lacks important details, such as the location of the thermostat, WiFi availability, and menu/contact details for local pubs. This oversight can be frustrating who rely on such information for their comfort and convenience.

Stayed here in August with our family. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, with a charming attic room. Great location, only 15 mins from a town we visit regularly. Will definitely consider returning if possible.
No lock on the bathroom door, which was a minor inconvenience. Stairs may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The property is a little Tardis with a suntrap courtyard, perfect for those travelling by car. Great location for easy access to Aldeburgh and Walberswick. Large bath and separate shower room, with a second WC. Plus, a large screen TV for entertainment.
We felt so well taken care of, no complaints at all.

We stayed at a lovely cottage in August with our two children and in, laws. the three spacious bedrooms, including the charming attic bedroom, made our stay comfortable. the cottage is surprisingly spacious and conveniently located near two local pubs serving delicious food. It's only a 15, minute drive from Southwold, a place we visit regularly. If available, we would definitely return to this cottage. It felt like a home away from home. the owners were friendly and provided plenty of games and books for the children. the kitchen was well, equipped, making it easy for me to cook every night. the beds were incredibly comfortable, with cozy duvets and bright white linen. My son especially loved sleeping in the loft room. it was a delightful experience. Cons: Nothing for me.

Quirky building with convenient parking. Key in keylock. Liked the layout, dining area, and patio. Stayed in twin room at back, one in kingsize, and up top in twin with steep stairs. Loads of room inside, small outward frontage. Village location near pub, cafe/breadshop/restaurant, and convenience shop. Cheaper coastal base. Nice touch: bottle of wine. Good quality fixtures and fittings, retained many original features. Friendly and helpful locals. Suntrap courtyard. Easy to get to Aldeburgh and Walberswick.

We got exceptional value for our money at Minsmere Cottage, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped facilities, and charming character features. The location was perfect, with local amenities within walking distance and easy access to coastal attractions. The staff and locals were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider variety of glassware.

Our stay at Minsmere Cottage was phenomenal! It truly felt like a home away from home with its well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and lovely duvets. The village location was convenient with a pub, cafe/breadshop/restaurant, and convenience shop all within walking distance. The cottage itself was spacious, historical, and had a romantic charm. We especially loved the big bath and separate shower room. The friendly and helpful locals added to our wonderful experience. A bottle of wine left for us on arrival was a nice touch. We highly recommend Minsmere Cottage as a base for exploring the nearby coastal locations like Aldeburgh and Walberswick.
Additionally, some of the electric lights and switches in the kitchen stopped working on our final night. However, the landlord promptly fixed the issue when we contacted him.

Had a fantastic Christmas getaway at this charming cottage. Loved the spacious rooms, especially the huge bedrooms with comfortable beds. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. The cottage was well-equipped with all the modern amenities, making our stay comfortable. The location was perfect, close to both facilities and the beautiful coast. We enjoyed exploring the nearby area and had a relaxing time. Exceptional value for money too!
The parking was a bit tricky as there was only roadside parking available, although it was not a major inconvenience. The TV reception was a bit poor, which was a slight disappointment as we wanted to follow an important day in politics.

The cottage was spacious and clean, perfect for a large family. It was well equipped with a kitchen and had plenty of beds for everyone. the location was great, with easy access to the A12 and a good base for exploring Suffolk. We appreciated the games and books that were provided for the children, keeping them entertained during our stay.
There were a few minor issues, like the kettle being full of limescale, but nothing that spoiled our stay. the bathroom door didn't have a lock, which was a bit inconvenient.
